A lesser-known player in the DAW world, Studio One has become popular due to the excellent affordable recording packs offered by its developer, PreSonus. For very little money, you can pick up an audio interface, a mic, some headphones and a copy of Studio One Artist – everything you need to start home recording.
Studio One was the first DAW to offer drag-and-drop chord detection for audio with its Chord Track. This is something that Cubase now does very well, but it was a game-changer at the time. It also has a very good mixer and media browser, making it an excellent option for beginners and professionals alike.
At The DAW Tutor, we’ve been Studio One users since the early days. If you’re struggling to get to grips with its huge set of features, we are here to help you. Get in touch to arrange your first lesson.
